Choosing the right tariff is not enough

Choosing the right tariff is not enough

Going down the line is beneficial in this case.

Move the main circuit breaker down the order! The payment for electricity consists of an amount for the energy supply = consumed energy, and for its distribution.
Part of the distribution charge is a flat rate corresponding to the value of the main circuit breaker in the house. The value of the main circuit breaker is selected to match the maximum consumption. This means that if all appliances are switched on at the same time, the main circuit breaker must not blow out.
But here comes the question: Should all appliances be turned on at all?
Savings consist of the difference in tariffs that you pay within the distribution. If you lower the flat rate by one level down, from a 3x40A to 3x25A circuit breaker, you save 1000Kc per year (according to the distribution price - the supplier's average is doubled - Rate D d25). Invest in a priority relay PRI-51 to the amount of CZK 552 and get a return in less than six months.

Watch out!
The solution is the use of a current relay that monitors high-demand circuits and determines their priorities. High-consumption appliances that play a crucial role in determining the value of the main circuit breaker include a DHW heater, a hob, a washer, and dryer or electric heaters. The boiler can be switched off just during cooking. The temperature of the water is maintained by its thermostat and the water temperature can be reduced at least during the cooking time.

Take advantage of the current relay!

The PRI-51 current relay recognizes the switch-on of the remote appliance (hob) and disconnects the power from the boiler. The condition is that all circuits of the appliances are brought into the switchboard separately.

Avoid a high tariff!

If you have a double-tariff rate for electricity supply, you know the difference between high and low tariffs are sometimes more than 50%. The high tariff is valid for several times of the day and is remotely controlled by the energy distributor according to energy peaks. It is therefore advantageous to shift the cooking or washing away from the high tariff.

Savings = iNELS

If you do not use HDO signal switching (D26d rate) when heating water and heating, then your costs per year will be about 30,000 CZK. Switching to a low tariff for the same volume costs 24,000 CZK. And this difference between the amounts is CZK 6,000. Who at home is counting! If you cook for 2 hours on a 3kW electric cooker at a high tariff, your costs will be $ 30, unlike low-priced cooking, where you lower the price to $ 15.

Communicate!

In your meter, an HDO (Night Current) tariff receiver is located, which signals your high-current blocking technology - mostly electrical heating, water heating, or heat pump. However, other appliances that by their performance and operation at high tariffs is often forgotten and can lead to unpleasantly increased energy costs. We recommend that you secure a communication signal at the high rate even just for these appliances.

Stream wirelessly!

The RFSG-1M Wireless Transmitter is installed to the location where the tariff information (HDO receiver, or sub-distribution box, blocking heating circuits) is located. Subsequently to the appliance you want to block, install a wireless receiver RFSA-61B switching relay.
